I live in a post soviet piece of shit country BUT I am an azure admin and for my country I am by far easily within the top 20% non-C-suite highest earners.

Cons of the job: fucking exhausting. I can barely function after 8 hours of work. I find I don't really recuperate over the weekend either. Plus this is literally the only way I can sustain myself financially since both my parents are broke despite having law and medical degrees, ffs these 2 fucking subhumans...

I have cousin who works in IT and he doubled his earnings in less than 2 years. Problem is, he has to work 7.5h a day for 6 days a week, but it takes him 10h+ sometimes.

It DEPENDS.

If it is a startup, you will be working like
child labor hard work GIF by South Park

getting "startup salary" (below market) and "great young team" (other idiots like you) :feelskek:

If it is a large corporation, you will work at most 5 hours a week... and get 5 times as much money...
Great Success Win GIF

But the CATCH is: diversity training, and it is hard to get in there... :feelsrope:

How is working in IT exhausting?

its probably the least exhausting/tiring job possible since youre just on a computer all day and you can WFH most of the time too so no commuting

Actually, IMO, this sucks more for black people than white people... I watch these lectures like 1 hour... and forget about it..

But for an ethnic... kinda sitting there, listening to this "inclusion" and "friendship" lecture, where they are forcing "in disguise" white people kiss your ass :feelskek:

Moreover, since they do not have separate times for this, ethnics are usually joined together with LGBTQ+... so you have to listen how "everyone should ba friends", "love each other", and then point at a single black guy in the room, and a transgender near him :feelsmega::smonk::feelskek:

Also, when you leave the room, Nerdics will still silently discriminate you in everyday life... so much for training :feelsrope:

It kills your brain. You can understand only after you solved a difficult ticket in a day. You kinda "sit" but it is very mentally draining as @Mouthbreath said.

This is the reason many IT guys dont even think about women after work: no brain energy anymore. The only thing to do: watch some Anime and fall asleep. :feelsrope:
