Been taking 25-50k IU daily for 1 and a half weeks now and I think I'm starting to develop a yellow-greenish undertone on my face.

So instead of pale white I'm becoming pale green. Not exactly an improvement. I'll continue on for a while though.

might not be the same for everyone but depending on your complexion there's a chance you'll end up looking like this

you need to tan with beta carotene, especially if you are pale. tan + beta carotene is what looks ideal. beta carotene alone will make your skin yellow like you described.

but then I doubt the beta carotene would even make any significant difference tbh

As a general rule, consuming too much or over-supplementing vitamin A can cause hair loss [15, 16].

It definitely will, it doesnt make your skin darker just more orange/yellow. If you are white, even with a tan, the difference will be noticeable. You might want to limit your intake to 25,000IU daily if you are having such drastic skin color changes though

just get some real sun ffs

“While there is no upper intake level for provitamin A carotenoids, ingestion of very high levels of preformed vitamin A can be toxic.”

beta carotene is provitamin not preformed so vitamin a toxicity is not an issue.

If you’re going to reference something at least understand it first.

the reason beta carotene gives u a color is because your body doesnt actually use the ''vitamin A'' in it. it just stores it in your body thats why you get a color. beta carotene wont give u hairloss thats cope asfuck. if anything, a shit vegan diet +caffeine to stay awake + bad sleep + never going outside will cause balding. its multiple factors and some beta carotene thats not even real vit a shouldnt cause balding jfl

Been eating beta carotene 50k daily and dosing very high doses of vitamin a(15k iu+) and also retin-a.
I must be overloaded on vitamin a, yet I haven't noticed hair loss or any difference at all.
Will see, as I monitor it.
Op hasn't been taking it long enough to really notice any changes tbh.

Still, I'm doing a real vitamin a, also fish oil has some too, so my dose is even higher. Like 500% daily intake or even more.

beta carotene is under NO circumstances real vitamin a. like 0 possibility. i also use fish oil (cod liver oil) and i use grass fed liver organ supplements which contain vit a as well. plus retin A lmao

It can take up to a year to see toxicity, stop taking the preformed vit a, 15,000iu is far far too much
