Back when I used to take finasteride EOD at the dose of 0.83mg ( I cut the 5mg proscar into 6 pieces )

I had nerve pain around temples ( idk what reason but maybe my anxiety is causing it ) when taking fin, the pain 90% is gone!

How? Was it a MPB recession causing me the pain? Or the pain causes MPB?

Once I stopped taking fin, the pain came back!

I think I will try fin again... It has benefited me in many ways...

Cured 90% of my temples pain (nerve pain), hair was feeling/looking much better plus shedding was almost gone, skin was better.

Cons: insomnia on days I took it, slight loss of libido.

I'm thinking about buying the 1mg propecia, cut it into 4 pieces = 0.25mg EOD.

In one week = 0.75mg

Rather than taking = 0.83mg × 3 = 2.5mg

Maybe with this approach I will be able to eliminate sides.

The pain you experience is most likely the inflammation on your scalp caused by the balding process. It can also be an eczema, you might have seborrhoic dermatitis. These two things can also go hand in hand.

Yeah right...

Are you on fin?

Do you think my new approach of lower dose is better?

I'm using fin 0.25 every 2-3 days also cetirizine (daily) for the inflammation. I'm also thinking about lipofilling for the scalp. 4 years ago I had much more subcutaneous scalp fat and no problems with hair loss. Now the sub.fat is almost gone and my scalp skin is super tight (wasn't before).

I'm not on Finasteride rn. When I was, I got sides after half a year on 0.625 EOD.

This dose and 1mg doesn't give or take too much to be honest. Just try it out yourself and see how your body reacts.

Do you have any sides? How long have you been on it?

Shit... This is depressing.

What are you doing to keep your hair rn?
