You have good abs? i have no idea how to train emi also had very bad flared ribs. you cant really get rid of them, but you can kind of hide them by being aware of your breathing.
kind of think that getting bigger abs helped me to make them look better, but that might just be cope.
but honestly, flared ribs can be quite asthetic, look at wesley vissers, he also has flared ribs.

my personal favourite is weighted cable crunches but you gotta pick what works the best for you. do your own research on this.
abs are just like any other muscle btw, which means its completely unnecesarry to do like 50+ reps - 6-12 rep range till failure is the most optimal.
