I mean if you are drinking 2 liters of coke a day then yea your teeth are going to suck no matter what but there are people who drink a can of coke every day and have reasonable teeth well into old age and then there's people like me who suffer from shitty acid reflux and have shit teeth even though my lifestyle isn't much different from most other people. I probably won't have any teeth left by the time I am in my 50's.

Yup. My father made sure I brushed my teeth rigorously growing up and didn't let me eat too much candy or soda. I still got cavities.

My father also lost all his teeth by 50 and my mom has lost a good portion of hers.

But all dental problems are literally caused by the modern western pattern diet. Indigenous groups had perfect teeth eating traditional foods, but the next generation from them eating a modernized diet had detremental teeth problems.
Check out the book "nutrition and physical degeneration" by Weston Price
