I have acne scars too browsky, and plan to do laser treatments to remove them completely. Mine scars are 90% hyperpigmenation with some small deep scars here and there. Does it work?

So it works? Are your scars like hyperpigmwntation? How much does it cost per session

my scars were a combination of hyperpigmentation and actual texture. It takes time but it works. I saw optimal results 6 months after procedure. It was around 800 per session but I went with premium clinic so you could honestly find it for 400 bucks probably

def worth it

6 months? Why so long? And thats just one procedure as well, so that means you need to do a procedure every six months??

I’ve done it 2-3 times too but it makes me breakout super bad unfortunately

usually wait 6 weeks in between each treatment. I say six months because best results are 6 months after final treatment.

you didn't needle at home did you? I tried that once I had a traumatic breakout :ROFLMAO:
I’ve done professional and derma pen at home. It’s the same shit. Same pen as far as I could tell. Broke out bad both times

see what I had done is a bit different and you can't do it at home. It stamps 3-3.5mm deep (hurts like a bitch) and shoots radiofrequency (basically just heat and light) under the skin. Aesthetician was telling the girl that was shadowing her that if you do it incorrectly you can risk actually burning the epidermis. Then the needles retract. Takes 1 1/2 hours for the whole face including eyelids (ow again). I think I put pics of the machine in op

the radio frequency not only helps with scars, it helps prevent future breakouts

if you had trouble with normal microneedling it might still make you break out but worth looking into

My acne peaked at 17-19, it was horrible, now im almost 21 and only really get it bad when i shave my cheeks. Bro how on earth do you shave?? Shaving exponentially increases my chance of getting those underskin cysts
