Has anyone injured their neck through training?

Been training it for 2 months and I think I went a little bit too hard with the harness. I tried to go beyond failure and now my neck has been hurting for 2 weeks when I move it in certain positions

Also if I move it in circles really slowly I can hear a crunching sound at the back. Is this normal? I never really noticed it before but I can't be sure if it's been brought about by this 'injury'

Should I be concerned? I'm thinking of going to the doctor so I can get and xray or something. My cartilage might also be fucked
 
Have you seen good results from training?
 
what you’ve done is called ‘dedication for chad status’ it’s completely normal jfl
 
yeah i stopped for this reason and i dont want neck pain throughout my life its already hard enough

Muscles in my neck and upper back area knot and pull very easily, but they always sort out after 3 or 4 days.
2 weeks seem like more than a muscle tweak for sure
