Is eating at BMR and increasing caloric expenditure optimal for cutting?

Title.

I’m considering BMR as calories burnt when sedentary (not the other BS number the calculators give which is calories burnt if I was in a coma or some shit)

You’d still get all nutrients you need. And drop body fat, no muscle loss (maybe gain if newbie), no tanked hormones, no slower metabolism.
