I can tell you it could be one of this 3 reasons
1. Inward gonions
2. Low bigonial width
3. Short ramus, the more vertical the ramus, the better.

I have slightly outward gonions and decent ramus and my face still oval, I think oval faces are related to slightly long vertically faces

Visit an orthodontist.

I’ve got an SFS and a class 3 occlusion myself. My TMJ, or more specifically, the cartilage around it already shows signs of damage from the midline discrepancy caused by compensation mechanics.

Might be something similar going on in your case.
