Does anyone have personal experience with either jaw implants or jaw fillers, who could chime in and comment which is the best for contouring. mainly jawline angularity, and gonion definition?

Or does anyone know about the subject at any depth at all?

I'm weighing both options atm. but educated guesses would also be welcome.

Thanks.

Fillers work for gonion definition but they cost a lot (unless you inject yourself) and usually doesn't last much (got a user here that told me that he did it after bimax and lasted for only 15 days, after that he gradually lost definition).

Costum peek jaw implants are superior, but if you need to get bimax first then you need to wait 6 months to be safe

Wow 15 days? Sounds rather uncommon.

I self injected 2ml filler into my gonial angle and the results have been great. It was quite cheap ordering online. If the results stay for 5-6 months then I think it would be cost effective to sustain long term. I paid 60 euros total. I have a decent jaw, just lacking a bit of gonial width and angularity so I am the right candidate for fillers. I think someone with severely stunted jaw development would be better off with an implant.

Do you have before and after even full censored only jaw?

How bad was your jaw to begin with? I have forward growth and good chin but my jaw is just narrow with inward gonials.

I'm not willing to post pics sorry, but my improvement was similar to the results others have achieved on here, just with less ml used because I knew exactly where to put it whereas I think a lot of practitioners talk patients into getting their whole jaw and chin done.

My jaw looks ok from certain angles. I have low bf, tight submental area, sunken cheeks and a good chin. All I'm missing is lower 3rd width / lateral gonial projection and angularity and that's the type of thing fillers are good for enhancing. From your description you sound like a good candidate.

Fillers are the go to imo, as it's safe area and also little risk of ruining it aesthetically, i.e. bloat. But it's a slippery slope in a sense, just like drugs. You won't be satisfied and will want more. Anyway, it's cheap and effective. The only downside is bone resorption, if it's real.
Just don't get it done by the "surgeons" or whichever other charlatan.

Where should you get fillers done if not with surgeons?
