Take it on alternate days or increase dosage to keep the flushing, trust me its an awesome feeling :)

Yes, I think both wincel and extrachromosome recommend taking it before bed. However its a bit impractical depending on when you eat dinner because you need to take it on empty stomach.

Niagen is Nicotinamide Riboside, which converts into NAD ( nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)
Niacins active form is also NAD so i assume they have very similar effects

You're right. I was going off what my doctor told me once which was 3-4hours. also in this case you have to take it on empty stomach because otherwise fats will interfere, and fats generally stay in the stomach for more time than carbs and proteins.
