So, you want to enter the workforce, incel?

Idk where you live but in the UK but average starting salary for a graduate is about £20-£25k. Software Engineer is about £30K. Never seen a starting salary above £30k before in the UK. £45k a year is what you would purchase as a manager here.

My sister is supposed to go to Uni for 7 years to become an architect. Starting wage for a newly qualified architect is like £25k :lul::lul:🤡🤡.
Bro I could literally go show you some links to salaries that are 40k+ right now, they’re competitive as fuck though so need some luck, interview skills ad very solid academics to get them

I’m on 40k and I do IT for one of the major UK banks

@forevergymcelling you should see £200k houses in England compared to £200k houses (in AUD) in Australia and the difference is insane.
Australia seems to be a mogger country but i heard they are like Nazis with stuff like corona lockdown etc

Wageslaving is a meme, you were either born into wealth or not

The only legit way to ascend social classes is by your looks or having a business of your own but you still need money for the latter

In the UK? I haven't seen them this high tbh. I do live in north-west england which is outside of london if that matters. I am impressed that your starting salary is so high. I haven't seen one thats above 30k.

I will be honest I don't have the credentials to even bother applying for one of these top grad scheme jobs. I did well in high school but I have been slowly becoming more depressed and demotivated over the years. I don't think I can achieve anything noteworthy anymore. People have asked me "what's happened?" because I was a "gifted" student in highschool.

I should have listened to myself instead of getting pressured by my mum to go to Uni. I wasn't ready for it and I have blew my only chance at going to Uni for "free". I passed but I got a 2:2 from a no name Uni. Most grad schemes want a 2:1 or above. Probably from a russels group uni. I also spent most of my time rotting in my room so I didn't live the Uni lifestyle. I don't have the funds to go get a second degree.

I’m in the North West as well- admittedly I have a first class degree from a top 5-10 uni though. My ex gf worked for a city law firm and started on 47.5K, her firm wasn’t even the top paying one either

IB is the highest paying sector in the UK, you can start on 50k and get a bonus as well but te hours are horrific .

law is the second best, plenty of city firms start you on 40k+

tech/comp sci is also pretty good , plenty of roles starting in 30-35k range , tbf I’m only actually on a 32k salary (I was including my bonus when I said total comp).

There are e-thots here that make 200K a year. It's about as much of a clownsworld as it could possibly be.

UK housing market is suicide tier. I was talking to a guy at my work who knew a guy who bought about 4-5 houses in the 1970's in a decade before the housing market got cucked. He was on a decent wage and he could pay off his house in about 2 years. He would then buy another house in the future. He is now extremely rich due to the decision he made by chance.

My Dad could have bought a huge house before the housing market got cucked. House is probably worth £1 million today.

Now I am talking to couples who have taken out a 30 year mortgage for a 3 bedroom house. Fucking overrrr.

Meh, I have been told HGV is shit pay now. My dad and his friend used to drive HGV but they have stopped now. The problem is this culture rewards being greedy over sharing AKA paying your employees more.

Also these are starting wages. They will go up over time. My current wageslave job nets me about £20k a year but its not going to increase past this point. Low wage but I get 48 hours a week. Some zero hour cuck jobs won't give you this luxury. Its so over for some people.

Working this job has opened up my eyes to how some people can get stuck in a cycle of poverty. The issue is people have the "just work hard" (its true to an extent but the idea that wealth is directly correllated to how hard you work is cope) fallacy so instead of trying to help people in poverty they will just gaslight them. Rich people with power can do a better job of keeping poor people poor then poor people themselves.

Not currently. Getting a 2:1 is required to get onto most competitive graduate schemes. I have an interviews with my 2:2 before so its possible. Only just restarted my job hunt now that I have a car. Currently at a minimum wage 12 hour workday warehouse wagecuck job. If I don't ascend in the next few months its probably over.

I geninuely think getting my degree was a waste of time. The only reason I went to uni was due to poor circumstance. I was scared of the workplace (long story, basically due to my parents experience) and my mum was pressuring me to go to uni. I didn't want to go at the time but I couldn't become a NEET either. I have blown my one shot at free education JFL. I will contact my university because they have a service available to help wagecucks like me. Hopefully they can help me because I didn't network during uni. I have learnt from my mistake but the opportunity has passed.

The problem with climbing the corporate ladder is that your puttting your destiny and earning potential in somebody elses hands.
