Awareness of PTSD in children has been fairly limited until recently, which means symptoms can sometimes be mistaken for more familiar childhood diagnoses. Born NT but ugly = abused = PTSD = autistic like tendancies but without actually being born autistic = social withdrawal because of being ugly = false autism diagnosis. Ugliness was the root cause, not muh autism.
Legitimately born autistics who become attractive will be socially accepted if they get better looking during puberty. Their autistic behaviour will not stop them from being socially accepted due to the halo affect.
