you can notice that Croats and Serbs from Dinaric region are slightly taller than Croats and Serbs from Pannonian Basin

I think it's about animal based diet + less carbs since Dinaric region is mostly mountainous and on top of that they probably fasted more?

Why don't Balkan and Baltic men benefit from the "height halo" as much as Nordic and Dutch men?

Has anyone else noticed this? It feels like people straight up overlook the fact that the Balkans and Baltic Europeans some often actually taller than many Nordics and on par with the Dutch. Is it due to lack of soft power(albeit they've been getting more attention in the NBA recently)?
