Serious question - with respect to Tom Cruise's cheekbones

Do you guys think they have more frontal projection? Or are they more lateral projected (zygo arch)?

Would I be better served going down the route of filler, or cheek implants? Thing is most cheek implants look femm / uncanny and are relatively high risk for guys.

Thoughts?

only implant but with zygo implants it seems to be 50/50

I think Eppley finally perfected zygos impants for males.

Can you link to any recent examples?

More so than Yaremchuk?

yarmachuk will only do the malar, not zygo.

no specific example to cite, but see his recent writing on male malar/zygo enhancement:

Would filler work in that area (zygos)?

the zygomatic arch is difficult to get right with filler, especially if you’re lean & the results can look unnatural.

Filler in under-eye area works.

my final decision is i'm not going to touch my cheeks.

maybe a little filler in the tear duct area.
i still cannot decide.
why you decided in this way ?

Haha - my surgeon told me not to do it.

He 100% said he didn't think I needed it and to go with filler instead to make a very slight difference. I respect him for that.

I already got a jaw implant - to his point - I think if you start making everything prominent, you end up looking like a clown.

You really need to pick 1 thing to emphasize and the rest needs to stay in harmony so to speak.

wow that's my 2 hours of inner talk with myself in one sentence lol.

I have 2 failios, kinda flat cheekbones and weak lower third.
So i will begin with custom wraparound jaw implant + zygo fillers.

You have to consider that when you have a "failio" - there's 2 things at work.
(1) Skeletal / skull (bone structure)
(2) fat pads

if your cheeks are kind of flat, that could also be fixed with a little filler to compensate for the flat fat pad.

Zygo is different though because I think that's actual bone -- anyhow it depends what you want to achieve. You can't enhance everything because then it introduces too many variables, and really attractive people don't have everything super enhanced either. The goal is to look aesthetic, but natural and even a few subtle changes can go a REALLY long way. I've seen people on this board give advice to others to pump everything up and the results are always cartoony.
