It takes intelligence to be a serial killer. Blacks are probably more likely to get caught earlier, before they're "serial" killers or before they rack up more impressive numbers.

Also the practice of being a serial killer is probably less compatible with black communities where murder is more normalized. They're still way more likely to murder you than whites. You can even make the case that serial killings are a practice of "relief" that isn't needed when you can be a gangbanger anyways.
