Why counting calories is a fucking scam

You probably heard @Never Get Up say this a million times but calories is a unit for measuring heat. We don't burn heat for energy, we are not a fucking train, we use ATP for energy. This heat energy in also in a closed system. You don’t eat heat energy, you’re not a closed system.

Calories are an excuse pushed by the carbohydrate industry to blame their victims for becoming obese and dying of diabetes. Eat when hungry, stop eating when your not hungry. It is such a simple idea yet so difficult for people to understand. Our ancestors counted nothing yet now everyone thinks we need a calculator to eat.

By law, food labels can be in error of the "calories" inside their product by up to 20%. This mean if you think you supposedly eat 2000 "calories" a day, your not, it could be anywhere from 1600 - 2400 "calories" in reality.

Also, protein shouldn't even be counted as calories as it's not even used for energy but as a building block. Ofc, if you overeat on protein your body will turn into glucose but that rarely happens for the average person, escpecially those that destroy their bodies on "caloric deficit" diets.

There are many more problems (bioavailability, enzymes, digestion health...) with counting calories.

The only reason caloric deficit works is because people vastly cut their food intake to a dangerous level where they do lose weight but fuck up their body in the long run.

You can only use glucose or fat for energy. If you combine both within a meal you activate your Randle cycle and you nuke your body with inflammation.

You have option A: use only glucose ie. plants for energy and risk severe malnourishment in 3-4 years and pretty bad chronic health problems.

Or option B: go on a high fat carnivore diet and compeltely forget about calories, meal counting and other autistic diet strategies. You will feel healthy, satiated, and your body will self-correct any weight problems.



Just remember, calories are a bullshit propaganda that the corrupt grain industry uses to blame their victims for obesity caused by grain and sugar merchants.
Also in a calorie deficit that makes you have fast weight/body fat loss and you maintain those levels you fuck your hormones and your face because of cortisol when your body is fighting for energy it gets stressed leading to higher cortisol just eat whenever your hungry and don’t overeat. Cortisol bloat is real
 
@Rigged What does your diet look like and what do you consider the optimal for someone looksmaxxing as an adult versus someone going thru puberty.

tbh i just eat meat, fish, and drink milk and water, its what adults and kids should eat, i dont eat sugar but not over diet reasons i just dont like anything sweet besides sodas

I dont think diet has to be overcomplicated having an ideal diet vs just a basic good diet like mine is like 5% diff not enough to matter
 
I agree with this thread, counting calories is a waste of time and it can also raise your cortisol levels because when you are hungry you want to eat something right away, our ancestors didn't stand there counting and prioritized what really matters: hormones

Nevertheless i find it useful to count macros or keep track of how many micronutrients im eating

Trying to track anything regarding nutrition is a waste of time.

If you go raw carnivore, you’ll only have to eat 1 time a day as your body will let you know to stop eating.

Yeah it makes sense since meat or eggs already gives you enough nutrients than fruits, vegetables or other poison can give you

I IQ mog this entire forum. Those YouTubers would dog walk you in the field of human nutrition. I’m currently in the works with a few of them myself.
