I've heard someone say this, I'm currently expanding with a palate expander so I want to know whether I should ditch it or not.
Will your palate narrow back down after not using a palate expander for a few months?

You need consolidation time after the expansion is complete. Otherwise, the hormesis process of your body will try to revert the change.

So I'm screwed (can't/won't get MSE since my face is already wide asf, I'm only doing this in order to correct my mouth width and my buccal corridors).

Yeah I'm Not really worried about palatal width as I am buccal corridors and mouth width, will this effect mouth width? I thought I gained 1-2mms of mouth width but that could just me wanting to believe in it.
