One of the only ways you could die from this surgery is through a bloodclot travelling to your heart or brain, after the operation you NEED to be on blood thinners. Keep this in mind and make sure to discuss it with your surgeon.

This is more of a the surgeon being a retard then a LL risk sort of thing, it’s common practice to prescribe blood thinners after any form of leg surgery
