i have wide face and slightly long midface (~1 in mirror but ~0.97 in clinical photos). looks way better when i morph a compact midface

i think prominant cheekbones make it look more compact. ive got a short midface but still looks kinda bad since I dont have the best cheekbones

Lip lift won't do enough if you already have a really short philtrum like me. And cheekbone implants will only widen it a bit and it'll mare your eyes closer set which is bad. You need to change the length

Well it depends on the severity of the long face. I have a long philtrum so a lip lift would help me alot. Also a rhino would as well.

because a normal person has a normal vertical height of maxilla, it's just the midface that is too long

i emailed the author and he confirmed to me that this is possible in someone without a gummy smile. i have a feeling he's also very cheap compared to US surgeons.

yes i agree long nose is high class and aesthetic, especially if midface is still compact. but overall its not important, short nose is fine if your midface is compact.

i would guess average nose is probably around 50-55mm.

but its all about proportions, you must consider nose relative to philtrum

haven't seen you provide any real explanations why it cant be done. even eppley says the only issue with impaction in a normal person is burying the teeth under the lips...but a lip lift can solve that exact issue. the author covers this exact issue, and the final result looks good:
