Got around 6-7kg to drop of pure fat in about 2 months. I’m not sure if that classifies as rapid or fast fat loss, but does quick fat loss result in loss facial skin sagging/ sagging?

Thinking of doing:
  • 1300-1500 calories a day (hit protein and get enough fats, like 60-80g).
  • Continue gym to maintain muscle mass.
  • Getting daily walk in of roughly 15k steps a day (which I do anyway).
  • 20/30 mins on stair master after gym (which my bro forces me to do because he thinks he is gonna turn into David Goggins).

It will not cause any LOSE skin lol
Talking from experience?

If I say 6kg pure fat loss that would be 6*7700 =46,200 calorie deficit.

My sedentary maintenance according to the calculators is ~ 2000 calories.

Assuming 10k steps daily + gym 5x a week + 20/30 min cardio after gym, I say maybe 2500 calories would be my maintenance.

Eating say 1300 cals a day (protein and fats)
2500-1300=1,200 daily deficit

46200/1200=38.5 days for 6kg fat loss. so realistically like 40 days. which is like 1.5kg every 10 days.

0,5 kg a week is normally doable, so 2 months = 4kg but with your aggressive approach I think 5-6 is doable maybe, but lil too fast. It will not cause any LOSE skin lol

You can eat around 2K calories a day because 15k steps is around 500 calories plus 30 minutes stair Master and gym is enough to lose 1 kg in a Week

Also doing this ensures your hormone production is optimal and you get good sleep, which then lowers the desire to snack or eat useless junk calories even more.

It's not all calories in, calories out. There are benefits to doing lots of excercise, eating 2000kcal vs. sitting at a computer and eating 1500kcal to stay in a deficit.

Not to mention this is a looksmaxing forum, so the fact excercise promotes collagen growth should be enough reason not to cut simply by eating low cals and sitting all day.

I’ve been reading some posts on extended water fasting (which seemed to be called the "Snake Diet" back in 2020-2021). It's essentially 3 to 5 days fasts then small refeed (of around 500-1000 calories depending on activity level) and repeat until reaching desired leanness. Nothing else can be consumed other than than snake juice (what they call just water with potassium and sodium, nothing else) since it will mess with metabolic processes, autophagy etc. People seem to have had incredible results and claim little to no muscle loss, or at least no more muscle mass loss compared to standard 500 calorie deficit a day. This method doesn’t seem to be talked about at all anymore, although the forum has gone to shit to be honest, with barely any useful users left. But these 2 users made some good posts on it there they were active, and they had both previously used DNP multiple times. They claim the same rate of fat loss as DNP, amongst other reasons why it’s beneficial, like greatly improving insulin sensitivity, so once your done your fasting your able to build muscle more effectively, anecdotally at least, etc.

I’ll link some of their posts, maybe you can let me know what you think?

In general anecdotal experiences with the diet.

Why better than DNP (both have experience with fasting and DNP, this is there conclusion):

This is also not an excuse, as you said above, to sit on your ass all day, if anything DNP is an excuse to do that, in my experience. With the Potassium and Salt water you can workout perfectly fine. Still hit my gym session today, and progressed on quite a few lifts, got 20 mins of stair master in comfortably, level 6 but still, and got around 12k steps in for the day.

(I have also had experience with DNP. From scrolling through both their post, and from being people who advocate for DNP, to people who prefer this method over it, I decided to try for myself. I am 24 hours in so far.)

Of course that method is superior to DNP or any chemical whatsoever.

The problem with it (like any diet) is it takes immense willpower, which is why 99,9% of people will fail trying it.

3-5 days is a huge fast for a sugar and carb addicted everyday person. Most of them are physically incapable of fasting even 16 hours without getting withdrawal symptoms from food like a fentanyl junkie.

If ur doing 5 day water fast your body may metabolize your skin collagen for protein, even rapid weight loss won't give u sagging skin if ur protein intake is adequate and you're on top of skincare.

I would try 3 days water fasts for insulin and longevity benefits, but when you're not fasting try to have adequate protein to maintain skin quality

Alright thanks.

How often should they be done?

And I assume no physical activity (gym or cardio etc) during this time, so the body requires lees protein?

is there a benefit to doing weekly, 1 day fasts? obviously aside from losing 0.3kg fat?
It would probably be good for your overall health and insulin sens, but to activate longevity pathways and achieve autophagy u have to do extended fasts of 3-5 days, and these long fasts tend to be more sustainable when they're done with less frequency, aka once a month

How did it go brother
Going good. I started a bit later than I made this thread.

I just eat 1000 calories of meat in one meal after the gym. (roughly 165g protein, 45g fat, 0 carbs)

Guaranteed 1k deficit even if you do fuck all, all day.

Then I just walk to the gym and get some steps in when I go shopping (I leave my fridge empty so have to shop daily - no walking basically means no food). Gets me at least 8k steps, which will just make your deficit that much higher with not too much effort.
