"High cut" Lefort 1s are all constrained by the infraorbital foramen (passageways for clumps of nerves and blood vessels); they limit the extent of the cut so it's still pretty low and doesn't fully address midfacial retrusion. Gunson had dismissed them for this reason.
Yes exactly!I had something similar to B and it barely made a difference either; it is after all only a few mm higher than a conventional LF1.
Incidentally, I've seen people in person who have had the Quadrangular LeFort and the results are still very underwhelming.
As a male, you want lateral projection of the cheekbones as opposed to posterior really so even saggittal advancement here doesn't give you a great result.
