How climate affects your facial aesthetics

In an ideal world, which climate zone would you prefer to evolve in?

the reason nordics have small lips is because larger lips make you more prone to frostbite, and our ancestors survived the ice-age.

What climate do we look most adapted for?

the area of the world you've got your characteristics from is similar to the mediterranean hence why there's a bit of overlap.

hot and dry summers mean more pigmentation, melanin protects you from sun damage, there's also some phenotypes that have deeper set/smaller eyes and more prominent brow ridges in that part of the world, this is likely due to dust, nordics have similar features to deal with snow/rain.

I calculated the midpoint region (start and end points are where my mum and dad's ancestors came from) to get the overall climate zone:

Gonna do a few midpoint calculations for my facial climate zone as I'm bored.

I got:

  • Zonguldak, Turkey (Cfa/subtropical)
  • Luleburgaz, Turkey (Csa/Mediterranean hot summer)
  • Istanbul, Turkey (Cfa/subtropical)
  • Karabuk, Turkey (Cfa/subtropical)
Overall, my face is adapted for subtropical climates.

@PrinceLuenLeoncur @JohnDoe @Moneymaxerr

The results were a Cfa (humid subtropical) face. Was expecting Csa (Mediterranean) but this also makes sense as they're similar.

I picked up both Cfb cool temperate (blue eyes, nose shape) and BWh hot desert (golden olive skin, thick soft hair, big lips, big eyebrows, big eyelashes) traits, which I guess balances out to the subtropics/Mediterranean areas.

hot and dry summers mean more pigmentation,
My dad is from a BWh climate zone, haha.
melanin protects you from sun damage,
I rarely burn from the sun. Once I accidentally went outside without sun protection as I was rushing, and I felt a little tingle on my arm. Didn't peel and I turned brown very quickly.
there's also some phenotypes that have deeper set/smaller eyes and more prominent brow ridges in that part of the world, this is likely due to dust, nordics have similar features to deal with snow/rain.
The ET/EF climate regions are all rice phenos though, JFL. Even the Dfc (subarctic) Caucasoid phenos are rice shifted.

Ironic considering you people actually used to eat beef up until relatively recent history and the only reason they were ever considered sacred was because they were specifically meant to sacrificed and eaten by your Brahmin priests.

Imagine how weak and feeble minded a people must be to let the influence of just one man continue to manipulate their opinions to this very day, especially one that's literally detrimental to their very own health.

don't forget to take into account that the climate was different in the past, it's not very stable, a lot of current characteristics are the result of past events, i.e long-term droughts, famine, ice-ages.

asian type eyes for example (they have an additional epicanthic fold) are the result of the harsh climate in most of ancient china.

I might make two threads that split all Caucasoid and all Mongoloid types into their climate zones (Negroids are usually only found in tropical zones).
africans are the hardest because we don't really know what went on in their continent during most of their evolutionary history, hard to tell why they have some traits, they also moved about a lot due to tribal wars and general hunter gatherer lifestyle.

probably the most fulfilling lifestyle to be honest, won't mind being reincarnated as bushman.

looks fine as it is, just a bit lacking for most of africa, but that's expected because the information just doesn't really exist.

there's probably undescribed phenotypes in africa too, since it's poorly documented.

It would be nice if African phenotypes were studied just as in depth like Caucasoid and Mongoloid phenotypes on the Internet.

Mine is subtropical (already knew) but am glad I belong to the middle phenos because the other 2 (I assume the top is some sort of Armenian adjacent person) are shit

So most of the curries who inhabit this forum wish to be either Nerdic or Korean

Seems legit

My father = hot desert (BWh)
My mother = cool temperate (Cfb)

Using the midpoints of where my parents were from (ancestry wise) it balances out to subtropical (Cfa).

Which other two?

No wonder I have a nasty cold right now...
I look like the middle guy in the subtropical phenos (Eurafricanid pheno). When I moved to the South my health improved. My skin would glow even without washing it, my hair grew healthier, and I turned into a high T beast, going on slaying sprees and seeing up to 3 girls in the same day.

Now I live in a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. My skin is always either oily or cracking, hair cannot get styled perfectly anymore, and I couldn't give two shits about fucking (well by my standards anyway). May be placebo but for me climate pill is reall

This thread would actually be useful if it was about how the climate can affect your facial aesthetics

i.e., dry air vs humid air and how it relates to your skin care routine, sun exposure and its relation to aging, etc.

Would be interesting to learn which climate will give you optimal looks. I'd image somewhere with too much sun might or somewhere with too dry or sticky of air might require extra skincare precautions.

Some users on threads, such as @repiles , @LiteralCaucasian and @slavcelchinceljawcel have brought up how climate affects your facial aesthetics.

PART 1

WARNING: INCOMING AUTISM!

This thread may also interest @PrinceLuenLeoncur @justinzayn and @Moneymaxerr

As racist as it sounds, users have unanimously agreed that if the vast majority of your ancestors were from a cool, temperate climate, you would have the best facial aesthetics. I personally do not agree, since it is racist and there are Chads of every race.

If you're Latino, this will be covered in another part. If you're mixed race, the midpoint of where your paternal and maternal ancestors would be considered for your "facial climate zone". For example, my mother's ancestors were mostly from the British Isles (Cfb/cool temperate), and my father's were from Southwest Asia (BWh/hot desert), so the midpoint is in Turkey (Cwa/subtropical), so according to this logic I have a subtropical climate-adapted face.

This logic won't work for Mestizos (midpoint is the Atlantic Ocean) but it would for mulattos (midpoint is North Africa) and hapas (midpoint is in Central Russia/Central Asia).

HERE'S A HANDY CALCULATOR IF YOU'RE MIXED RACE. USE THE START AND END POINTS AS THE PLACES YOUR PARENTS' ANCESTORS CAME FROM. IF YOU'RE TRIRACIAL OR QUADRACIAL, DO IT TWICE TO INCLUDE YOUR GRANDPARENTS (START WITH THEM FIRST).

Taking me as an example, I used both my parents' ancestral places to come up with the midpoint:

The halfway point between English Town and HOT DESERT PLACE is:

Zonguldak, Turkey

Zonguldak has a humid subtropical climate.

In an ideal world, where would you prefer to evolve?

Here's the world climate map:
View attachment 1985759

And here's what these three-letter legends/codes mean:
View attachment 1985762

To put it simply:

  • A = tropical
  • B = desert/steppe (can be hot or cold)
  • C = temperate
  • D = continental (warm summers with deep freezing winters)
  • E = polar
Now, let's see the average faces (OLD WORLD ONLY, NEW WORLD/LATINOS WILL BE COVERED IN ANOTHER POST IN THIS THREAD) of each of the climate zones:

TYPE A (TROPICAL)

AF (Tropical rainforest climate)

Aw (Tropical savanna)

TYPE B (DESERT)

BWh (hot desert)

BWk (cool desert)

TYPE C (TEMPERATE)

Csa/Csb (Mediterranean, hot summer)

Notice how India isn't included:

Cfa (Subtropical)

Cfb/Cfc (Oceanic, cool temperate)
