Reminder to buy BTC before the big boom happens

2012 halving ➡ BTC reaches 4-figure ATH at the end of 2013 ➡ BTC drops to 3 figures
2016 halving ➡ BTC reaches 5-figure ATH at the end of 2017 ➡ BTC drops to 4 figures
2020 halving (you are here) ➡ BTC reaches 6-figure ATH at the end of 2021 ➡ BTC drops to 5 figures

I would advise you to wait until it drops in the 10-15k range before the 2021 bull run begins.

Yes that would be the wisest thing to do.

Wtf?

I never talked about it being used as P2P, I even said so. Its the new internet gold not the new internet currency, other faster cryptos will be used for this. But bitcoin is still perfectly fine to fit this role, in time the network can upgrade my guy.

And JFL ''not massively adopted'' we have literally broken previous ATH WITHOUT AVERAGE JOES. Its the big companies investing now, and with good fucking reason.

You are low IQ if you invest in stocks ''for the long run'' in this time period IMO. Everyone is expecting a major recession, probably the biggest ever to hit, and its coming closer and closer to that reality. The thing is, you cant predict it. You only know its coming. This is exactly the reason why bitcoin is rising, if you look at the big picture you understand the problems with the financial system. Its not sustainable in the long run. People will flee with their money to stable assets, ''store of value'' to make sure they dont lose their money. Bitcoin is an example of one of these so called ''store of values''. And its arguably the best ''store of value'' to exist. As it has all qualities of Gold, but its digital, low fee, online, you name it. Its a SUPERIOUR technology to the old metals.

Crypto is NOT comparable to some ''bubble'' like .COM lmao.
How can it be a great store of value if the price fluctuates so much, that's what I don't understand from you here.

Volatility on the short term doesnt mean it isnt a store of value in the long term.

Thank god crypto is positively affected by corona.
Crypto is a meme lmao all of wallstreet knows that and all the financial gurus know that as well. And you saying btc will take over gold just fking lol. gold is the only thing that has value and forever will have value in the future, not some electronic currency which can be potentially hacked and has numerous security vulnerabilities. The USA or any country would never allow a crypto to overtake the usd

people will always use cash whether it is physical or electronic, yes nowadays people rarely use cash and just use credit cards and apps like apple pay.

Its still not too late to hop in. If we follow the average return in % of the previous bull market (2017), BTC should be about 250k USD as ATH in this bull market.

BTC pumped again

When the fuck events this boom

I'd get out before 80k. In 70s~. I just don't think it will hit 100k yet.

average % growth for btc would make it 250k peak ATH of this bull cycle.

I'm very bullish on btc, but this is complete delusion. Don't even dream of this in 2021. Maybe 2024-5... In general, I just don't see the 250k number myself for now. I'm not saying it can't reach 1 billion though.
This rally is going to be limited to 100k, optimistically. Realistically I'm calling 80k the top. Of course I'm a nobody.
In fact I expect less, because I think the growth for bitcoin is only slowing down by this point, as it's reaching saturation. There'd have to be a mainstream push/integration for further real growth, i.e. become a thing you use every day, as if fiat. Or replace the fiat.
Agree to disagree.

@fag112 @copingvolcel what about shrooms stocks? They will most likely be legalized in US and Cannada in the next few years for medical reasons. MindMed is the main company projected to lead the psychedelic revolution right now, it is worth around 100 million right now and it's expected to increase atleast 1000% in the future and stary overtaking Anti Depression meds Big Pharma which is worth aroujd 10-15 billion now
If i were you i would look to be investing in things that are more likely to give you a good return earlier in the future. The US doesn’t look to good right now

Exactly this, Bitcoin is the new gold, even if it won't be used for payment it will keep its worth because there is only a limited amount of it. It may fluctuate greatly now but even if it doesn't seem like it, BTC is still in the starting phase and highly undervalued. You can only win with BTC in the long run.

Stocks are a great investment most of the governments in europe right now are receiving stimulus packages to deal with covid and people are using this money to buy products mainly from Amazon because all local buissnes is shut down. I agree with everything fag112 said about bitcoin, the amount of times I was going to invest but didn't it's depressing.

bitcoinAn internet-enforced currency used to launder money, purchase illegal drugs, child porn, and other criminal activities, all under the pretended idea that everyone is anonymous when using it.

China has become the primary miner location and investor group in Bitcoin to escape Yuan controls by their government. Any other exchange, miner group, or investor class is wholly dependent on what Chinese bitcoiners happen to decide to do that day, and the exchange rate from actual money to Bitcoin in any other currency than the Chinese Yuan is essentially random and disconnected from what is occurring in Chinese exchanges.

Most purchases using Bitcoin are for illegal drugs, child pornography, and money laundering, all of which can engage the purchaser into a long, involved, and expensive legal fight when they are caught.

Without the Internet and people donating their computers and bandwidth, Bitcoin is totally useless. Mining requires constant connectivity to ensure that only one chain of transactions is the real chain that matters, and without miners, no transactions between Bitcoin users are processed. Transactions between users line up in a queue until some miner accidentally gets the right number and some transactions are processed.

In the current state, Internet-required coins have been nothing but pump-and-dump schemes. Bitcoin has been successful due to its acceptance by drug and child porn sellers, and other criminal organizations.

I had a million US Dollars, so I converted them all to Bitcoin, and now I have 100,000 US dollars. Who will buy these stupid Bitcoins from me at an inflated price so I can possibly make back a percentage of what I lost?

How many grams of meth can I get for 10 Bitcoins? Promise you aren't a cop?
