Basketball shoes pretty much all have 1-2 inch lifts built into the heel and NBA players are running across the court and doing of cardio while wearing them. Shouldn't be too much of an issue unless we're talking 2+ inch lifts.i wear elevators in the gym all the time. if you're doing upper body its fine, if lower just take them off when you squat/dead and sit down while recovering.
